use close-offset floodlighting in a variety of white colour temperatures.
Units are maintained through windows.
For contemporary traditional architecture (top), we turned to integrated
lighting. All the lighting elements are hidden from view, mounted out of
sight on a roof or hidden behind a balustrade. All the sources are warm
white. Ground-recessed lights were used in order not to detract from the
clean lines of the façade.
Of course, sometimes a building is all about advertising and branding,
and the architecture and lighting design has to take a back seat.
This completely programmable digital scheme (above) provides a
dynamic backdrop and powerful brand identity. Warm light from the
interior of the building combines with spikes of light to create the
backdrop for a series of programmable digital screens that are outlined
with illuminated frames.
