Sutton Vane Associates designed the lighting. At this
conference, they tell the inside story of the project.
The keynote will be delivered by David Saunders,
formerly of the British Museum and a world authority
on the conservation of art and objects.
He will share his insights and learnings in a special
session on how both daylight and electric light can
affect precious objects. He’ll advise on mitigation
measures, and focus specifically on the adoption of
LEDs in museums and galleries.
Speakers at the Lighting for Retail and Hospitality
conference, which takes place on the afternoon of day
one, Wednesday 14 November 2018, will explore how
to use light to enhance brand values, create customer
engagement and boost sales.
The sophisticated lighting of the new Dolce &
Gabbana flagship store in Venice will be explored
by Admir Jukanovic, design director of Mindseye
Lighting. Lighting the Venetian palace in which the
store is located involved marrying old and new, and
