The latest phase of the development is perhaps the
most unusual: a landscape lighting project with 14
underwater luminous sculptures inspired by jellyfish.
Called Jellyfish Medusa each 80cm-wide illuminated
globe is anchored to the sea bed and boasts a fibre
optic system with 200 luminous tentacles. Underwater
roots – also lit with fibre optic lighting – connect
each jellyfish to poles on the shore and provide an

are positioned in a shore-side panel room. The
extraordinary project was installed by a professional
team of divers and installers supervised by Dean Skira
and his team of engineers.
