The Pritzker Prize-winning firm Herzog &
de Meuron will be remembered for its great
buildings, certainly, but we reckon 2002’s
serpentine Pipe – admittedly more Zaha
than the Basel-based practice – will give it
a long legacy in lighting interiors.
